Liu Qibao (Chinese: 刘奇葆; born 1953) is a Chinese politician. He was elected the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Sichuan Provincial People's Congress on January 27, 2008. He also currently serves as the chief of the Communist Party of China Sichuan Committee.
Liu Qibao was born in Anhui Province in 1953. He has previously served as the Communist Party chief of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. He was first appointed Sichuan's Communist Party chief in December 2007.
